Chengdu is a famous cultural city in China. The culture in Chengdu, which includes the cultures of eating, leisure, tea, Taoism, Panda and Three Kingdoms, has exerted a great influence on the Chinese people.. Even many people in Korea and Japan are keen on the Three Kingdoms culture in Chengdu. One of the hottest computer and video game called " Romance of the Three Kingdoms" in Japan, are based on the history of the Three Kingdoms.
Chengdu was selected by World Tourism Organization and China National Tourism Administration as “China’s Best Tourist City” in 2007 along Hangzhou and Dalian.
