Chengdu Tianfu Software Park (TSP), located in the southern park of Chengdu Hi-tech Zone, is Asia's largest professional software park and one of China's 10 largest software industry bases. It has a planned construction area of 2.2 million square meters and a developed construction area of more than 1.3 million square meters. Officially opened in 2005, TSP is now the fastest-growing professional software park in China, attracting more than 300 famous domestic and international enterprises, including IBM, SAP, NEC, GE, NCS, Huawei, Ubisoft, Alibaba, Maersk, Siemens, Ericsson, Tencent, Wipro, DHL and Manulife Financial, 40% of which being foreign-funded enterprises and 26 Fortune Global 500 companies, with a total population of nearly 40,000 employees. The park has successfully promoted industrial clusters of business software, ITO, digital entertainment, telecommunications and BPO/back office service centers and has become the first choice for leading domestic and international software and service outsourcing enterprises in their China strategic layouts.
About Phase I & II
Phase I of Tianfu Software Park has a total land use of 226,000 sq. m and a total construction area of about 230,000 sq. m. The whole project is divided into two sections: zone A and zone B, with nine buildings in the former and eight in the latter. Building 1 in the A zone accommodates the supporting services of the park and building A9 accommodates various restaurants and canteens.
Phase II of Tianfu Software Park has a total land use of 760,000 sq. m. and a total construction area of 560,000 sq. m. The whole project is divided into two sections: zone C and zone D, with twelve buildings in the former and seven in the latter. Building D1 consists of three distinctive supporting facilities: dormitories, apartment block and business hotel. The underground area of zone D is dedicated to the catering needs of the area with several restaurants, two canteens and coffee shop. Phase II was delivered in three batches: the first group of buildings in zone C of a total construction area of 140,000 sq. m. in June 2008; the second batch in zone D of a total construction area of 170,000 sq. m. in July 2009 and the third batch of 250,000 sq. m. in June 2010.
About Phase III
Phase III of Tianfu Software Park has a total land use of 57,000 sq. m. and a total construction area of 230,000 sq. m. This project consists of two buildings designed in inspired shapes, and is strategically located along Tianfu Avenue. Phase III is completed in October 2011.
About Phase IV
Phase IV has a total construction area of 1,100,000 m2, among which 100,000 m2 is operational in late 2011,
Phase IV was specifically designed to accommodate hi-tech, BPO, E-Commerce and call-center operations, but also provides SOHO offices for smaller businesses. This park offers a unique working environment under a distinctive model: Young, Life Style, Community and Functionality.
