Yesterday(24th oct.), John Naisbitt who is an American author and public speaker in the area of futures studies came to Tianfu Software Park with Mrs. Naisbitt. Their book Megatrends was published in 1982 and was on the New York Times bestseller list for two year. It was published in 57 countries and sold more than 14 million copies. His new book "China's Megatrends" will discuss the practice and results of the urban and rural integration in Chengdu, reflecting the development pace of the city's internationalization.
They came to Tieto company first and had a talk with Juuso who is the vice president R&D Asia. They talk about the development of Chengdu those years. The couple said Chengdu is a very energetic, initiative city and both spoke highly of the industries here.
After the happy talking in Tieto, Mr. and Mrs. Naisbitt visited the park and the "Chengdu High-tech Window" in the company of Victor - the vice president of Tianfu Software Park company. Victor introduced the achievements and the plan of the Chengdu high-tech zone in recent years.
